HALF-TRACK Vol. 1

 First volume of this monography describes genesis of half tracked vehicles in the world and American achievements in this area which lead to first successful vehicle — M2 Half-Track. Monography includes technical description illustrated with several 3D drawings and many first time published photos. Factory pictures show technological details and final assembly stages.

Next part of the book describes armament of basic Half-Track versions (gun tractor and infantry transporter) — 0.30 and 0.5 Browning machine guns. Separate chapter shows Half-Track as universal armament platform equipped with mortars, howitzers, AT guns and AA weapons. All variants are illustrated with several wartime photos.

Last part of the book are colour profiles in 1/35 scale as well as colour photos of museum preserved examples and still active vehicles. Modelers receive 1/16 scale drawings of M16 Half-Track variant (the same as Trumpeter’s #00911) including one profile of vehicle from the 1st Polish Armoured Division.

Jagdpanzer 38 HETZER

First part (of two) of the Hetzer monograph describes its development against the German tank destroyers history, including production and subsequent modifications. Chapter about Jagdpanzer 38's service is amended with Hetzer-equipped units listing. There are also camouflage and markings as well as technical description. A list of all museum-exhibited vehicles is provided, and some of these tanks are shown on the colour photos (details of construction are shown). inlcuding photos of the Hetzer belonging to the Canadian Forces Base, Borden, during its reconstruction.
