July 12th, 2023 – IT’S OUR 40TH ANNIVERSARY!

Dear Friends,

To celebrate 40 years of providing you with the best military history books, and to brighten up your summer, we have a very, VERY special announcement! We have acquired a very extensive and diverse book collection, and, over the next few weeks, you will have an opportunity to add to your library slightly used titles at very good prices, and fill in some gaps with out of print ones at prices below those on sites that really empty out your wallet. We want to be fair, but also have to weigh in our work and the fact that we have to pay our bills.

HOW THE AUCTION WILL WORK

Here’s how the auction will work: For the rest of the summer, every Thursday or Friday, we will feature one or more publishers’ books (plus a miscellaneous category, and…. *A RARE CATEGORY*) . We will provide the title, author, and publisher as well as the reserve price. For more information on the titles, you can search our website (www.jjfpub.mb.ca) or “Google-it”. If in stock, a book’s price will be around 50% of the regular price. If out of print, for most titles the price will be close to the original regular price, a bit more if in as new condition, a bit less if there is some wear.

In several cases, the extremely rare and desired price may be quite high, but lower than some sites ask. As we only have one of each title, you may bid at the asking price, or higher if you really want to be competitive. We will accept the highest bid. In case of a tie, the earliest bid wins.

There will be a link to each book and you can order as normal. However, when ordering, do not forget to include your bid in the customer/order notes section. Bidding will stop at midnight of the Monday after we send out the email.

PAYMENT & SHIPPING

Due to the high charges from credit card companies and security concerns, we encourage you to use an alternate method of payment. We encourage all of our customers to use Pay Pal, but our Canadian customers can also choose to pay by e-transfer.

Regular shipping will apply, but no further discounts will be applied. You can add any of the regular titles from our web site to your order.

PUBLISHERS & SPECIAL CATEGORIES

Here is a list (in no particular order) of publishers and special categories that will be featured in the coming weeks:

JJ Fedorowicz Publishing, Trojca, Helion, Classic/Crecy, Hikoki, Pen & Sword, Casemate, Midland, Fonthill, Frontline, Peko, University of Kansas, Stackpole, Greenhill, Eagle Editions, Kagero, MMP, Leaping Horseman, Ryton, Start Luftfahrt Verlag, After the Battle, Concord, and Schiffer. Also, Miscellaneous and *Rare*.

We will send out the first batch this Friday, which will be Helion titles, followed next week by Classic/Crecy books.

We look forward to supplying you with some of the titles. Enjoy the auction!!

June 13th, 2023 – Update

Dear Friends,

Today we are featuring a 2-volume set on Stalingrad by well-known Swedish historian, Christer Bergström. This work on the ground war during the Battle of Stalingrad is the continuation of Christer Bergström’s previous book Operation Barbarossa 1941: Hitler Against Stalin and supplements his Black Cross / Red Star series about the air war on the Eastern Front.

Stalingrad – New Perspectives on an Epic Battle. Vol. 1: The Doomed City covers the importance of Stalingrad and the Luftwaffe’s largest and never before discussed mistake in 1942. The newly-released Volume 2, Stalingrad – New Perspectives on an Epic Battle, Vol. 2: The City of Death, covers operations in the city itself and the Soviet counteroffensive to the surrender of the Germans and Romanians in the pocket.

We will be ordering this set at the end of the week and should have them in by the beginning of July. Place your order by end of day, Thursday, June 15th, so we know how many to order!

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Take care and stay safe,

John & Natalie

June 12th, 2023 – Update

Dear Friends:

Today we are highlighting 3 really interesting titles for you to check out. Two of them will be in stock in two weeks; the third we should have by mid-July.

From Frontline Books, we await two books detailing the history of the Abwehr (German Military Intelligence) – Hitler’s Nest Of Vipers deals with the organization’s early years of WW II. The second title, Hitler’s Trojan Horse, takes the narrative to the end of the war. Although we will be receiving these books in about two weeks, you can order them now.

From AK Interactive, we offer a chance for you to get in on the pre-pub of Waffen-SS Camouflage Uniforms. Looks like a terrific book for you collectors and uniform enthusiasts.

If these books have caught your eye, please place your order today to ensure you get a copy. We are hoping to place our order by Thursday, June 15th, 2023. As always, you will not be charged until we send out your order.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Take care and stay safe,

John & Natalie

May 7th, 2023 – Update

Dear Friends,

We hope that you all had a great weekend. Hopefully you had a chance to spend some quality time with the newest title by Waldemar Trojca, Panther: Bergepanther Ausf. D. All ordered copies have been sent out. Now, we do have a few copies left, and the few that we have left will not stay in stock for long. We do not know when, or if, we can get more, so order today! Okay, on to new business!

Today, we have one book for your consideration, the T-34 Shock: The Soviet Legend in Pictures by Fonthill Media. After taking a quick scan of a copy, we heartily recommend it. A definitely useful facet is that the photos are presented in chronological order.

That’s all for now. We hope that you have a great week. Also, a big thanks to everyone who contacted us and provided us with feedback on the Panther: Bergepanther Ausf. D. We really appreciate and value your comments.

Take care and stay safe,

John & Natalie

April 25th, 2023 – BIG NEWS!

Dear Friends,

GREAT NEWS!!! – The newest title by Waldemar Trojca, Panther: Bergepanther Ausf. D, has arrived! That said, we will be busy little bees for the rest of the week! John’s back is not pleased…

We also wanted to note that we received a very limited number of other Trojca titles. They are:

SS-Panzerkorps in the Battle for Kharkov 01-03.1943

The Submarines of the Imperial Japanese Navy and Army 1904 – 1945: Technical and Operational History

Aircraft Carriers of the Imperial Japanese Navy and Army, Vol. 1

Tiger I: Technical and Operational History, Vol. 2

Soviet Union Air Aces, 1941-1945

Due to the higher shipping and a higher exchange for the Euro, prices have increased a bit. Once again, we are going to have to do things on a “first come first serve” basis, so please do not procrastinate in ordering.

We look forward to hearing from you soon!

Take care and stay safe,

John & Natalie

April 14th, 2023 – Update

Dear Friends,

We have two titles for you to review this weekend. The first looks like a really interesting title from Helion, Snow, Ice and Sacrifice: The Italian Army in Russia, 1941-1943. This is the first English-language publication to provide an in-depth description of Italian army operations in Russia during the Second World War. Looks pretty cool.

The next title comes from Crecy Publishing in the UK, Junkers Ju 88 Volume 3: Development, Equipment and Operations 1940-1945. Known as the Luftwaffe’s long-serving Schnellbomber (fast bomber), this book tells the story of the Junkers Ju 88 as a day and night-fighter.

**Please be advised that this is a pre-order** Although we do not expect to have this book in before the beginning of July 2023, we do need to know how many of you are interested in a copy as soon as possible. This is because some of the last titles from Crecy Publishing have gone out of print very quickly, so we want to make sure that we order enough copies from our distributor. As per usual, you will not be charged until we ship the book to you, so guarantee your copy by ordering online by end of Wednesday, April 19th! We do not want you to miss out!

Have a great weekend!

John & Natalie

March 30th, 2023 – Update

Dear Friends,

Today we have four interesting titles for you to peruse:

A couple of these titles may sell out quickly, so we will be employing a first come, first served policy. We will be placing our order on Monday, April 3rd, so please place your order by end of day, Sunday, April 2nd.

Lastly, just a quick note on sending and receiving emails to us. It seems like the bugs still haven’t been worked out with our server and so sometimes, emails that we send are bounced back. If you are not receiving our email updates or order confirmation details, please check your Spam folder. You can also add jjfpub@jjfpub.mb.ca as a trusted contact. Hopefully, this will solve this minor irritation.

Have a great weekend, and stay tuned for news coming soon on the Panther: Bergepanther Ausf. D title by Waldemar Trojca!

Take care and stay safe,

John & Natalie

March 19th, 2023 – Update

Dear Friends,

We hope that you are all enjoying some lovely March weather. We just wanted to provide you with another quick update on the status of Waldemar Trojca’s Panther: Bergepanther Ausf. D. As of today, we expect to have the books in by mid-April, providing that the transportation system doesn’t put us through any additional delays… we hope!

As mentioned in our last couple of updates, besides assembling boxes in anticipation of Trojca’s book, we have been busy with housekeeping duties. As a result, we have a number of damaged JJF titles available for sale.

As some of you may be aware, a colleague of ours in the US has been helping us sell some of these damaged titles. But now, it’s our time!! We are pleased to inform you that we are now offering our own 30% off sale on damaged JJF titles!

These books have some scratches, dents, or a bit of wear on the covers. However, the text block is mint and almost all are still in the original shrink-wrapping. So, if you are looking to save on some really excellent titles, and do not mind a cover with some damage, please visit our website and order today! This sale will be on until end of day, Sunday, March 26th, 2023. **Note** When ordering, please quote “Damaged Books” in the Customer Note section.

Have a fantastic week! We look forward to hearing from you!

Take care and stay safe,

John & Natalie

March 1st, 2023 – Update

Dear Friends,

FINALLY! Waldemar Trojca’s Panther: Bergepanther Ausf. D has been shipped and we should have it before the end of March (transportation gods willing!)!waiting Unfortunately, due to the horrific transport costs, worse exchange rate and the higher price we have to pay because the title has grown by 50 pages since we priced it, we have been forced to raise its price to $190.00. If you have not yet ordered one, please be advised that this shipment will probably be sold out right away because any copies not claimed by individuals will be sold to booksellers, leaving none available for later.

** TO THOSE WHO HAVE ALREADY ORDERED THIS TITLE ** – If you wish to cancel your order due to the price increase, please email us (jjfpub@jjfpub.mb.ca) right away and your reserved copy will be assigned to someone else. If we do not hear from you by March 20th, we will assume that you still want your copy. LASTLY, due to the weight of this 8 lb. monster, as we wrote earlier, the shipping cost for this book will be $25.00 (see new shipping policy below for Canadian and remotely located US customers).

Included with Trojca’s Panther D shipment, small quantities of several of his other, previously sold out, titles are also on the way. They will disappear quickly and we cannot guarantee that we will get more in the future. So, if you have them on your wish list, grab them quickly. Please note that due to the reasons we listed above, their prices have also risen. Those titles are listed below.

SS-Panzerkorps in the Battle for Kharkov 01-03.1943

Aircraft Carriers of the Imperial Japanese Navy and Army, Vol. 1

Submarines of the Imperial Japanese Navy and Army 1904 – 1945: Technical and Operational History

Tiger I: Technical and Operational History, Vol. 2

Soviet Union Air Aces, 1941-1945

Tiger Ausf. B Königstiger: Technical and Operational History

** NEW SHIPPING POLICY FOR CANADIAN AND REMOTELY LOCATED US CUSTOMERS **

Despite the quickly rising costs of shipping and packing materials, up until now we have managed to keep the shipping cost steady to US and Canadian customers. However, the cost of shipping to Canadian customers, and US customers located in remote locations such as: Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Alaska and other US territories, has gotten to the point that we cannot absorb them anymore. Please be advised that we will now charge you the actual shipping and packing cost. In some cases, that could be substantial. If you are concerned about the shipping and packing cost, please email us (jjfpub@jjfpub.mb.ca) to request a quote before we proceed with your order. We are happy to offer this option as part of our customer service – we want you to be satisfied with the books and our service!

Well, that’s all for now. We look forward to hearing from you!

Take care and stay safe,

John & Natalie

February 10th, 2023 – Smaller Damaged Sale

Dear Friends,

We are still working to organize the warehouse in order to make some room for the arrival of the massive, Panther: Bergepanther D, from Waldemar Trojca’s Technical and Operational History series. That said, to those of you who do not mind some slight damage at a saving, we have gathered a selection of damaged titles that we are offering at a 25% discount. These are the titles included in this week’s offer:

Me 163: Rocket Interceptor

Arado Ar 234 Blitz: The World’s First Jet Bomber

Dornier Do 17: ‘The Flying Pencil’ in Luftwaffe Service 1936 – 1945

Close Call II: RAF Close Air Support in the Mediterranean, Volume 2 – Sicily to Victory in Italy 1943-1945

Also, we managed to find a couple of these guys, which are available at 30% off!

Technical and Operational History: The Submarines of the Imperial Japanese Navy and Army 1904 – 1945

So, what do we mean by some slight damage to these titles? Slight damage refers to minor dents/tears to the cover/dust jacket. When thinking about ordering, please keep in mind that we have a limited # of damaged copies available for sale at this reduced price. Each title has 2-3 damaged copies. That said, we will be operating on a “first come, first served” basis. The sale will only be on until Sunday, February 12th, 2023 at midnight.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Take care and stay safe,

John & Natalie
