The KV title will arrive in the same shipment as Axis Wings, Volume 2: The Luftwaffe and Co-Belligerent Air Forces’ Compendium and the reprint of Axis Wings: Volume 1 – The Luftwaffe and Co-Belligerent Air Forces’ Compendium, which we expect to receive at the end of October. We hope that you had a great week! We just wanted to send out a quick update on the shipment status of the KV Soviet Heavy Tanks: The Soviet Tank that Paved the Road to Victory. The shipment of this book, the FLAK: A Photo Study of German Anti-Aircraft Weapons, and the Valiant Press books we announced recently, has been collected by UPS in Europe. Providing that everything goes to plan, we expect it to reach us at the end of next week. If that it is the case, your copy will be on the way to you on Tuesday, October 1st.

At this time, we have 4 copies of the KV Soviet Heavy Tanks: The Soviet Tank that Paved the Road to Victory that are still available for sale. From the feedback we have received so far, it is a fantastic book and worth every dollar. So, if you have not ordered yet but know you must have one, order now as the remaining copies will be sold on first come first served basis. Due to the costs of bringing in such a heavy and expensive volume, we cannot guarantee when, or if, we might be able to bring in more copies. The publisher has informed us that it is almost out of print as only 999 were printed.

Speaking of which, we now have all costs related to this book. When first announced, its estimated cost fell between $250.00 and $300.00. We can now announce it’s cost as $285.00.

Today we are happy to announce that we are now taking orders for a new title from Canfora Publishing, FLAK: A Photo Study of German Anti-Aircraft Weapons. Featuring over 200+ photos, the book is a detailed photo study of German anti-aircraft weapons. We have attached several for you to see for yourselves, but even Natalie commented on the quality of the photos, which never happens.

We have secured a limited number of this title, and it will be included in the shipment (at the same time as the new KV title) coming this month. If you are interested in securing a copy, please place your order by the end of Sunday, September 8th.

From Chandos Publications, we are now taking pre-orders for Axis Wings, Volume 2: The Luftwaffe and Co-Belligerent Air Forces’ Compendium. Today, we have a short update to inform you of a new title that we just received in stock, and another title that we will be taking pre-orders for.

For the dedicated readers of all Waffen-SS units, we have a very interesting title to promote from Editions Maranes – SS-Panzer-Abteilung 17 Götz von Berlichingen. Shipped in to us by air and at a short discount, this title (limited to 500 copies) is rather expensive, and available only in French text. However, the 220 photographs make it a worthy purchase. We have 5 copies only, so hurry and place your order while the supply lasts!!

We are now taking pre-orders for a huge volume on the KV tanks published by Tankograd – KV Soviet Heavy Tanks: The Soviet Tank that Paved the Road to Victory. It is due late September/early October, and we are exploring transport options. However, no matter which option we choose, the price will be $250.00 – $300.00, depending on transport and the discount that we receive. ** Please note that we will only order the number that we have orders for, plus maybe one or two extra for company library. If you commit to a copy, we ask you to honour your commitment – in the past we have had people back out on purchases and then we had copies we had hard time selling. **

Next, it’s taken us a while but our warehouse consolidation is now 95% complete! We will now assemble the out of print list of titles that we managed to locate during the move. We will send out the list to you in a few days. This list is being sent only to the customers on our email list!

Today, we have 3 titles for your consideration.

From Panzerwrecks Publishing, we have Defending Normandy Vol.1A: German Chain of Command, LXXXIV. A.K. & Infantry Divisions on the Cotentin. This title looks at the role of the LXXXIV. A.K. in the evolution of the defence of Normandy, starting in 1941. It also examines infantry divisions in general and two in particular during the fighting in the summer of 1944. We expect to have this title in by the end of July.

From Tempest, we have Messerschmitt Me 328 Development & Politics. In this title, author Dan Sharp unravels the development history of the Messerschmitt Me 328 to find out exactly what happened to the Luftwaffe’s most enigmatic ‘secret project’ aircraft. Based on extensive archival research of contemporary German documents, it includes numerous previously unpublished period drawings, plus 50 new full colour profile artworks. We expect to have this title in about 3 weeks.

Finally, from Peko Publishing, we have Panzer-Rgt./Abt.18 On The Battlefield, which looks at this German unit and their vehicles. We expect to have this title in about 3 weeks.
