We are now offering a new, more secure way to pay for your purchases – direct bank transfer! There is no need to use your credit card anymore; this option is quick and easy to use!

When checking out at the end of your online purchase, select the direct bank transfer payment option. Please ensure that your contact information is accurate. Once your order is received and processed, our bank details will be automatically sent to you via email, along with the Order ID. We will then contact you, by email or telephone, to provide you with the final total before payment can be sent. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THE TOTAL PROVIDED ON THE ORDER AFTER CHECKOUT DOES NOT INCLUDE THE COST FOR SHIPPING AND GST.

Once you have received the final total, you can then use your preferred financial institution to transfer payment directly to our account. If you prefer, you can use your Order ID as the payment reference. Your order will not be shipped until the funds have cleared in our account.

This week, we have a short update for you. We are featuring one new book, and it is a good one. This book includes more than 250 rare, color images portraying life and death along the Eastern Front.

Now, to some good news! The books will be arriving at the beginning of next week, provided that we don’t get hit with anymore snowstorms. As soon as we receive them, all back orders will be filled. We do have a couple of each of the titles still available. So, if you haven’t claimed one yet, don’t wait to long to do so…

Over the past few years, some of you have inquired about books on WW II military operations in the Pacific Theatre. In the past, we have special ordered a number of titles that a few of you asked for. Now we thought that they should be available to all.

That said, today we are offering a number of books from an Australian publisher that deals with the fighting in the Pacific during WW II. Avonmore Books has published a number of really nice, soft cover titles. Although they are a little more expensive, they are high quality and definitely worth it.

At this time, we have only a couple of these titles in stock. However, on Monday, April 4th, we will put in an order for any of these titles that may tickle your fancy.

Dear Friends:

We have a new title to introduce to you this week from Pen & Sword. Eben-Emael and the Defence of Fortress Belgium, 1940 looks like a really interesting title as it features a lot of new information on the famous historic battle that was a German attack on Belgian forts.

We have now received new shipments of the following titles and only have several copies left of each. These titles are really well done and we highly recommend the following:

Next, we have some good news regarding the new Trojca titles: Panzerjager, Volume 3; Panzerjager, Volume 4; and Tiger Map Book 1942-1945!! They have arrived in town and we should have them next week – as always, delays with delivery from rail to our store. So, we aren’t quite there yet but progress has been made. We will send out another update as soon as we receive them to provide you with an estimate of when you can expect them to be shipped out.

More good news…. we have just received information that more copies of Bloody Verrieres are on their way to us, and we expect to receive them late next week.

Lastly, just a bit of information regarding Leaping Horseman books. A couple of their titles have gone out of print recently and they seem to be selling fast. Also, it is expensive and time consuming to bring them in. We have a couple of each left from last order, so if you like their books and want more, do not delay in ordering them.

We are back so soon to let you know about an excellent title, Black Cross/Red Star – Air War Over the Eastern Front, Volume 1: Operation Barbarossa! Long out of print, the first volume of Black Cross/Red Star has now been reprinted with much more new material – see details in the link below. We expect to receive it right around Dec. 24th, and we will be shipping it out soon after.

As we will be placing our order for this title on Tuesday, please express your interest by ordering online early. This will help us to decide on the size of our order; and, more importantly, it will guarantee you a copy because this one is going to sell fast!

We have three new titles today with which to entice you. A History of the Mediterranean Air War, 1940-1945, Vol. 5: From the Fall of Rome to the End of the War 1944-1945 is on the way to us and should be here late next week.

We are also taking orders for StuG III Brigade 191, 1940–1945 The Buffalo Brigade in Action in the Balkans, Greece and from Moscow to Kursk and Sevastopol and Bloody Verrieres: The I. SS-Panzerkorps Defence of the Verrieres-Bourguebus Ridges, Vol. I: Operations Goodwood & Atlantic, 18–22 July 1944, which will be reaching us at the end of the month, perhaps earlier if we are lucky. Please order now so that when they arrive we can make sure that you do not miss out.

There are several other shipments on the way and we should have them soon, and will be filling orders as they come in. Lastly, the Trojca shipment has left Hamburg and hopefully will still get here just before Christmas. We will try to ship those books out before the end of the year.
