Now, on to business. We wanted to take this opportunity to update you on the status of some upcoming books. Operation Citadel, Volume 1: The South has been printed and we expect to receive it at the end of September. The three titles from Waldemar Trojca (Panzerjager 3, Panzerjager 4 and the Tiger, Map Book 1942- 1945 East Front) will all be going to the printer shortly, and we expect those to arrive in October. Finally, Sturmtiger: The Combat History of Sturmmörser Kompanies 1000-1002, from Panzerwrecks, is expected to arrive in September. We have added images of the cover and some sample pages, plus the final price, for your examination HERE. Please note that we will be placing our order for this title with the publisher soon. If you are interested, let us know as soon as possible to get in on the first shipment!

A final note regarding the arrival dates of the titles above: please keep in mind that, unfortunately, we are hostages of the transportation system during these COVID times. We always try to estimate, as best as we can, the dates when the various books are in our hands. But, delays beyond our control can happen. We appreciate your patience and can guarantee that you will get the books one way or another!

Today’s update is going to cover more business than pleasure, as we have some important news to pass on. Before we get started with that, we do have one book for your perusal.

From Heimdal, we offer Leibstandarte, Tome 2: 1943-1945 (Volume 2). This follow-up volume is one that we highly recommend to all who want more new LAH photos. Although it is in French text only, the plethora of excellent new photos, including many featuring panzers, make it a must have – remember, the photos do not speak any particular language; they are universal. Plus, it’s easy to pick out the names, places, dates, and vehicle designations!

We only have 8 copies in stock at the moment. So, just for you, we have set a special price at $100.00 for the copies we have in stock. Once they are gone and we need to order more, the regular price of $125.00 will be back in effect. Emails will be sent out to notify those customers who ordered fast enough to get the special price. (Sorry, no further discounts as this is already a 20% discount)

From Eagle Editions, Fighters of the Iron Cross: Men and Machines of the Jagdwaffe is now on the way to us and we should have it in less than 2 weeks. At this time, 5 copies of the regular edition remain available. We are pleased, and really excited, to announce the reprinting of one of JJF’s most popular and best-selling titles! Originally published in 2002, and out of print for a number of years, Operation Citadel, Volume 1: The South will be available in September 2021. For those of you who do not have this book, or those who want the edition with the cool cover – a brand new, original artwork by Jean Restayn – , or if your first edition is worn out from all of the page-turning, we are offering this limited reprint for $125.00.

Also, if you do not have the companion volume, Operation Citadel, Volume 2: The North, please be aware that we have very few copies left!! Once Volume 1 is reprinted, we can bet that you will want to own the set!

As promised, we are pleased to announce three upcoming titles from Waldemar Trojca! The long-awaited, Panzerjäger: Technical and Operational History, Volumes 3 and 4 (W. Trojca could not fit all the great photos and colour profiles into one volume) close out this expansive and fascinating aspect of German armour in WW II. See the tentative Table of Contents page for a listing of all vehicles featured. The high-quality photos, a large percentage previously unpublished and quite a few full-page, present a huge selection of vehicles, including many of the really rare ones. The details will be of great value to modelers and historians.

The third book, Technical and Operational History: TIGER, Map Book 1942 – 1945 East Front is a unique tool to illustrate the movements and battle of Heer Tiger units on the Eastern Front. The amazing collection of war-time full colour maps, plus those specially drawn by W. Trojca, have no equal. As the areas shown were hotly fought over, other armour units were also present in the area, and so the maps can actually be used together with other books, such as the 4-volume Panzerjäger set, to follow the battles in detail. Many localities were destroyed during WW II and never rebuilt; they therefore do not appear on post-war maps. Honestly, good luck trying to find them on those maps! But on these maps, they can be located. The operations of the Grossdeutchland and Waffen-SS units will be covered in the next volume.

All three titles will be on the way to the printer soon, and we should have them in our hands by, hopefully, the end of August. For your browsing pleasure, covers and sample pages are available to view in the product details.

** Important note ** : At this time, we have not been updated with the price but need to find out who is interested in these volumes. This will give us a better idea of how many of each title we should order as the number of copies available to us is limited. Once we collect the orders and make our request we will not be able to guarantee copies to those who order late. That said, please note that the prices listed right now are not final! As soon as we can, we will update the website and send out another update to notify everyone. You will not be charged until we ship your copies.
