July 24, 2020 Update

Dear Friends:

REMINDER: Today, at midnight, is the deadline to get in your pre-pub orders for 12 SS Panzer-Regiment in the Normandy Campaign 1944 and Combat History of the 17.SS-Panzer-Grenadier-Division Gotz von Berlichingen Volume 3. Tomorrow, the price will change.

The two pre-pub books have gone to the printer and should be printed in August, then we will see what COVID-19 will do to the shipping time from Europe.

Meanwhile we are working hard on the next three volumes, more on them as they progress toward publication.

We have also been informed by the publisher of Camouflage and Markings of the Panzerwaffe that he has less than 100 copies left in stock. We are putting in our last order, so if you were thinking of grabbing this book do not wait any longer and reserve one with us.

Lastly, here are some new books for your consideration:

From Pen & Sword we have The War with Hitler’s Navy, from Greenhill Books we have Operation Colossus, the First British Airborne Operation of World War II, and from Casemate we offer Leningrad, the Advance of Panzer Group 4, 1941.

We hope to hear from you soon!

April 9 2020

Dear Friends,

Good news – we have now sent out all of the back orders and, hopefully, you either have received the books, or will soon.

Today we are announcing a new excellent book from Panzerwrecks, Combat History of Sturmpanzer-Abteilung 217 ! It has been printed and we will be taking orders for it until the end of Sunday, April 19th. We will then order only the number of copies we receive orders for, plus 2 or 3 extras. So, if you want to be sure to receive your copy, put your order in! As usual, first come, first served (you will not be charged for the book until it is sent).

Lastly, although the pandemic is affecting many businesses, we are trying to work as usual. While delivery of the books might take a bit longer than usual (not really a problem up to now), we will get them to you!

Thank you all for your continuing support and patronage, which we will reciprocate by producing more high-quality books.

Stay healthy and safe,

John and Natalie

March 29, 2020 – Update

Dear Friends,

Just a quick update to announce that we have received the 3 new JJF titles and Camouflage and Markings of the Panzerwaffe! And, by this Tuesday, we should also have the Panther Batallion Brandenburg and the Natter books!!

Orders that only included any of the JJF books and Camouflage and Markings book have been shipped. Orders that include any of these books plus Panther Batallion Brandenburg and/or Natter should be on the way by the end of this Wednesday.

We are still waiting for the Black Cross Red Star book and any orders that include it should be on the way to you by April 9th. Of course, due to the Coronavirus situation, you may experience some delay in delivery; however, UPS has assured us that they are doing everything possible to reduce delays. If you have been waiting for the books to arrive here before ordering, you can go ahead and do so now.

Now, because we keep our rep at the top of our Xmas list, UPS has offered us good rates for overseas orders for a limited time. These rates will only be in effect for another 4 weeks. That said, we encourage overseas customers to take advantage of them while they can.

Finally, while we are experiencing this health emergency we are still taking and sending out orders, and working on future titles – and hope to announce 2 or 3 new titles in the near future. Stay tuned for updates. We thank you for your continued support.

Wishing you and your loved ones much health and safety,

John and Natalie

March 15, 2020

Dear Valued Friends,

I regret to inform those of you who have been waiting for the arrival of our 3 JJ Fedorowicz books that there has been another delay with the shipment. It is in Canada; however, due to the current health situation worldwide, there have been, and still may be, more delays. Originally scheduled to arrive here on Monday, March 16th, the shipment is now scheduled for delivery on March 25th. Let us hope that this date will be the one! Regardless, we will keep all of you updated.

Needless to say, this has been extremely frustrating and disappointing to you and us. At this time, all we can hope for is a quick delivery, and I promise that as soon as we receive these books we will pack and attempt to send them out immediately. I must also mention that I have received a warning from various shippers that (although we will work to send out the books immediately) there may be delays in you receiving them. Additionally (not surprising), I have been told that due to the limited space on the aircraft that usually carry our UPS and other shipments, the cost of shipping might also be affected. In such cases, if the cost difference is substantial, affected customers will be informed.

Customers that have ordered the following: Natter, Black Cross Red Star, Panther Battallion Brandenburg, and Camouflage and Colours of the Panzerwaffe, please be advised that we are scheduled to receive these books by the end of March. Again, we will try our best to ship them out ASAP.

I sincerely apologize for these delays but they really beyond our control at this time. We will manage them as expeditiously and efficiently as we can, and appreciate your understanding and loyal patronage.

Stay safe,

John Fedorowicz
