Dear Friends,

We have a variety of news to share with you today, like some new titles to announce, plus some exciting news on a new Trojca project.

For the above-listed, we will be placing our orders next Monday, February 9th and will not be ordering extra copies, so please order your copies by the end of Sunday, February 8th.

**Shipping reminder**: Please note that we will now be including shipping information following a book’s title on our website for our US friends. The information following the book’s title will be worded “can be drop-shipped in USA” to notify our US friends that if they are in the US, the book will be sent from one of our US suppliers to help lower shipping costs.

Now, on to the really exciting news! We are very excited to provide you with a sneak peek of a brand new title that Waldemar Trojca is working on. At this time, we have minimal details to share, such as: that the new title will feature approximately 1,000 photos that have not appeared in the 3-volume set on the TIGER I, there will be colour, and it will be the same format as his other hard cover titles. The plan is to have it shipped to us at the same time as Panzer IV, Ausf. A-J: Technical & Operational History, Volume 2.

We look forward to hearing from you soon!

Take care and stay safe,

**Shipping update**: Please note that we will now be including shipping information following a book’s title on our website for our US friends. The information following the book’s title will be worded like, “can be drop-shipped in USA” to notify our US friends that if they are in the US, the book will be sent from one of our US suppliers to help lower shipping costs.

New US Shipping Costs – Please Read Carefully

Dear Friends,

Today, we need to pass on some very unfortunate news to our ** US CUSTOMERS ONLY ** regarding the increase in cross-border shipping costs by which we have all been impacted. We have done what we can to absorb the additional costs up until now, but the recent elimination of the $ 800 exemption for shipments (by the US government) has forced us to make some tough decisions.

We realize that these changes will put us at a significant disadvantage, so we have put together an easy to understand breakdown of our future US shipping charges. Put simply, we are going to be establishing a sliding scale of charges that will be set based on the total cost of your order, and from where your order is being shipped from.

We hope that you find these changes to be fair to you, and also fair to us.

** FOR OUR US CUSTOMERS ONLY **

FOR ORDERS SHIPPED FROM JJF PUBLISHING IN CANADA

Our additional cost is now $ 40 CAD per shipment. So, we will credit 10% of the total of your order toward the $ 40 CAD additional charge, and charge you for the difference, plus the actual cost for shipping and handling. Once your order reaches $ 400, the 10% discount ($ 40) will eliminate the $ 40 CAD cost.

Any sum over $ 400 CAD will have the 10% discount applied to it.

Here are some examples to illustrate the changes:

1. Your order is $ 100 CAD and the shipping and handling (S&H) is $ 20 CAD. You will receive a $ 10 credit toward the purchase, leaving $ 30 CAD to be added to the S&H. So, you will pay $ 100 CAD for the book and $ 50 CAD (all charges and S&H). Total charged: $ 150. Not very good.

2. Your order is $ 200 CAD and the shipping and handling (S&H) is $ 20 CAD. You get a $ 20 CAD credit toward the purchase and $ 20 CAD is added to the S&H. So, you pay $ 200 for the books, plus $ 40 CAD (all charges and S&H). Total charged: $ 240 CAD. In this example, the charges will be split equally between you and us. Better.

3. Your order is $ 400 CAD and the shipping and handling (S&H) is $ 20 CAD. You get a $ 40 CAD credit toward the purchase and $ 0 is added to the (S&H). So, you pay $ 400 CAD for the books, and $ 20 CAD (all charges and S&H). Total charged: $ 420 CAD. We cover the $ 40 CAD charge. Even better.

4. Your order is $ 600 CAD and the shipping and handling (S&H) is $ 20 CAD. You get a $ 20 CAD credit toward the purchase and $ 0 is added to the (S&H). So you pay $ 580 CAD ($ 600 – $ 20) for the books and $ 20 CAD for all the charges and (S&H). Total charged: $ 600 CAD. You receive a $ 20 CAD credit toward books and, again, we cover the extra charge.

While this might look complicated, all it means is that for orders up to $ 400 CAD, we and you split the extra charge, depending on the total amount of the order. At $ 400 CAD, we cover the extra charges, and higher orders will start earning additional credit.

ORDERS DROP-SHIPPED FROM OUR US SUPPLIERS

To avoid small and costly orders from Canada, we now have the ability to drop-ship some books from our US suppliers. Those books will not have the extra charge applied and the shipping should be slightly cheaper.

COMBINED ORDERS FROM CANADA AND US SUPPLIERS

On combined orders, we will have to apply the extra charge but the cost of the book/s being drop-shipped from US suppliers will also receive the 10% credit.

Example: If the book/s drop-shipped from US supplier comes to $ 200 CAD and one $ 100 CAD book is shipped from Canada, you will receive a $ 30 CAD credit toward the extra charge. You would pay $ 300 CAD for the books, the two shipping charges, and $ 10 CAD extra charge.

If you are unclear on this structure, please call or email us. Tell us which books you are interested in buying and we will contact you. As we expect many inquiries, it may take a day or two to get back to you.

IN CONCLUSION

We want to be fair to our US friends and want to keep you as customers for many more years. But we cannot do that if we keep taking losses on the sales. Unfortunately, we are all victims of actions that we do not control and must deal with this new situation.

Please be advised that for future orders, for ** US CUSTOMERS ONLY **, we will send you an email to advise you of whether your order will be DROP-SHIPPED FROM US ONLY, DROP-SHIPPED FROM OUR US SUPPLIER ONLY, or FROM US AND OUR US SUPPLIER, and the subsequent tracking details.

Again, we apologize for this inconvenience. If it is any consolation, we will be releasing the details of some new, exciting titles this week!

We look forward to hearing from you!

Take care and stay safe,

John & Natalie

November 4th, 2025 – Update

Dear Friends,

Today we are promoting a new title, which we will be receiving in December. From De Zwaard Visch, we have Quest for Freedom: A History of the Polish 1st Armoured Division in World War II. While it is a bit different than the books that we usually carry, it has a lot of information about the German units that this Division faced in various battles. So, please read the full description and then make up your mind if you want to add this title to your collection of this publisher’s other excellent titles. We are a bit strapped for time to place our order, so please place yours by end of day, Thursday, November 6th.

Also, a quick update, apparently Waldemar Trojca’s Panzer IV, Ausf. A-J: Technical & Operational History will be landing in Montreal shortly and will then be going through Customs. If we do not get put through the ringer, we should have it in about 2 weeks.

As always, we will keep everyone informed as we receive the latest news!

Take care and stay safe,

John & Natalie

This title will be on the way to us this week, and we are crossing our fingers that it will not take longer than 8 weeks to reach us. As usual, we will keep you updated on its ETA.

Lastly…. it looks like Predators is going to be a terrific title because the publishers are taking a really long time to finish it! This means that, if there are no further delays, we should have our copies around the middle of February.

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. For those of you who have ordered other titles with Predators, we will be contacting you via email shortly to discuss options.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Take care and stay safe,

John & Natalie
